Robert Warren (Bob) Zickwolf died February 26, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Ar. Bob was born August 10, 1937 in Trenton, New Jersey to Elmer and Edna Zickwolf.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother, Elmer Jr., and dog, Baby Girl.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia.
Bob graduated from Drexel University after which he served in the U.S. Coast Guards for five years. He retired from the U.S. Forest Service and Bay Area Rapid Transit System in San Francisco. He then settled in Mt. Ida, where he started his surveying business, Wolf Surveying, which he operated for 14 years.
As per Bob’s wishes, his body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at Joplin United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Steele officiating.
Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home.
